Why doesn’t my order count for Free Shipping?

- Firearms and ammunition: These items are specifically excluded from free shipping.
- Order value below minimum: Free shipping might require a minimum purchase amount. Check Academy's website for the current minimum.
- Non-standard shipping selection: Free shipping applies only to standard shipping. If you chose expedited shipping (e.g., 2-day or 1-day), you'll be charged.
- Bulk or other excluded items: Some unspecified bulk items or other categories might not qualify for free shipping. Check the product page for details.

What is the difference between Free Shipping eligibility for cardholders, guests, and registered users?
We offer free standard shipping on orders and items that meet certain conditions:
- When cardholders use their Academy Credit Card to place orders on Academy.com, we offer free shipping on eligible orders over $15.
- Free shipping for cardholders: Limited to Standard Shipping. Cannot be combined with the Academy Sports + Outdoors employee discount. Bulk and select items may be excluded. See the product page for shipping information. Academy Sports + Outdoors does not ship to Alaska, California, or Hawaii. A minimum pre-tax purchase of $15.00 is required to receive a discount.
- When customers are signed in to their myAcademy account, we offer free shipping on eligible orders over $25.
- When customers are NOT signed in to a myAcademy account, we offer free shipping on eligible orders over $50.
What is the minimum order amount for free shipping?
The minimum purchase threshold is pre-tax.

How long does free shipping take?
We offer free standard shipping (3-5 Business Days) on orders and items that meet the conditions.
- We ship most items to the contiguous states of the United States, (excluding California) via Standard Ground service.
- Most orders arrive within 3-5 business days. Business days include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
