Academy provides three options:

• myAcademy Rewards (Loyalty Program): Not a credit card — free to join.
• myAcademy Rewards Mastercard® Credit Card: Works anywhere Mastercard is accepted; earn 2% back in rewards on purchases outside Academy.
• myAcademy Rewards Credit Card: Store-only card usable at Academy stores, on the Academy mobile app, and on Academy.com.

Apply in-store during checkout or scan the QR code to check your prequalification status. Alternatively, Click here to apply online or check to see if you prequalify.

Applying for a myAcademy Rewards credit card will result in a credit bureau inquiry to your credit report, which can temporarily impact your credit score. However, you can check if you pre-qualify without impacting your credit score.

You will be considered for the myAcademy Rewards Mastercard® Credit Card. If not eligible, then you may be considered for the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card.

You may receive an immediate decision. Otherwise, you'll be notified by mail within 10 business days.

There is no annual fee associated with the cards.

Yes, during the application process for the myAcademy Rewards credit cards you will be promoted to enroll in the myAcademy Rewards loyalty program. If you are transitioning from an existing Academy card without a loyalty account, one will be created automatically.

The myAcademy Rewards Mastercard works on everyday purchases anywhere Mastercard is accepted. The myAcademy Rewards Credit Card can only be used at Academy stores, on the Academy mobile app, and on Academy.com.

Yes! If you're approved during your online application session, you can use your new card right away to receive a $30 first purchase discount. Your physical card will arrive within 7–10 business days.

If approved during checkout, your account will be applied automatically to complete your first purchase. If approved via QR code, inform the Team Member at checkout for Account Look-Up. You can continue shopping before your physical card arrives.

If instantly approved, your account will be created and a temporary card will be saved so you can shop online immediately. Complete your checkout the same day to receive the $30 first purchase discount. If your approval is pending, you cannot shop online until you have been approved.

Yes, you can add the myAcademy Rewards Mastercard Credit Card to your Apple, Google, and Samsung mobile wallets. Open your wallet app, tap “Add,” and either use your camera or manually enter your card number.

Yes! Account Look-Up is available online, in-store at checkout, or via QR code. The primary account holder must provide a valid state ID, military ID, or passport.

Primary account holders can add up to 4 authorized buyers to their myAcademy Rewards Mastercard or Credit Card account. Authorized buyers cannot use Account Look-Up; the primary account holder must be present. Add authorized buyers at Account Center.

Apply and be approved on the same day. Your purchase must be $30.01 or more and paid entirely with your myAcademy Rewards credit card. The discount applies automatically at checkout.

• Stackable with: $15 Welcome Offer, Military + First Responders, Teacher Appreciation, Employee discounts, coupons, clearance.
• Not stackable with: 5% everyday discount.

It depends on your membership status:

• Already a member: You receive only the $30 first purchase discount applied automatically at checkout.
• Not yet a member: You receive both the $30 first purchase discount and the $15 loyalty welcome offer delivered via email, typically within minutes of enrollment.

After your first purchase, all transactions on your myAcademy Rewards Mastercard Credit Card or myAcademy Rewards Credit Card automatically receive 5% off at checkout.

• Stackable with: Military + First Responders, Teacher Appreciation, Employee discounts, coupons, clearance.

Excludes gift cards, licenses, and in-store services.

You'll earn 2% back in rewards on purchases made outside Academy — that's 2 points for every $1 spent outside Academy. For every $250 spent outside Academy, you'll earn a $5 Reward Certificate redeemable at Academy.

Use your myAcademy Rewards Mastercard Credit Card to make $500 in purchases outside Academy within 90 days of opening your account. Once you meet this requirement, you'll receive a $50 reward available in your myAcademy Rewards Account.

There is no minimum purchase required when using your myAcademy Rewards Mastercard or myAcademy Rewards Credit Card — free shipping applies to standard shipping only. Free shipping is stackable with the $30 first purchase discount, 5% everyday discount, Military + First Responders, Teacher Appreciation, Employee discounts, coupons, and clearance.

Comenity Bank applies a late fee if your minimum payment is not made by 5:00 PM EST / 4:00 PM CST on the due date. Pay online, in-store, or by phone by the deadline (phone payments have a $9 fee), or mail your payment at least 10 business days prior. Pay via Account Center.

If you don't pay your balance in full, the unpaid amount carries over and accrues interest. The APR is variable, based on the U.S. Prime Rate, and is shown on your billing statement in Account Center.
