Same Day Delivery is a service that delivers your order the same day by 8:00 PM if the order is placed by 4:00PM local time. Different windows are available to choose when your order will arrive.
There is a fee for $8.99, $9.99, or $10.99 for Same Day Delivery depending on which delivery window is selected. Free Shipping does not apply for Same Day Delivery.
Same Day Delivery is available for locations near an Academy Sports + Outdoors store. Check availability by entering your delivery zip code when adding an item to your cart.
Only select items are eligible for Same Day Delivery. You can check if an item is eligible by selecting Same Day Delivery and enter your zip code. Some products may not be eligible due to restrictions such as weight, size and local laws.
2-hour delivery windows can be scheduled when placing the Same Day Delivery order.
Any order placed before 4:00 PM will be delivered the same day by 8:00 PM. Orders placed after 4:00 PM will be delivered the next day by 8:00 PM.
Your order will be delivered by a DoorDash driver. DoorDash is the Same Day Delivery partner of Academy Sports + Outdoors.

Yes, items delivered using Same Day Delivery are subject to Academy’s standard return policy. Most items are eligible for return in-store or by mail.
