The FN 509 Compact FDE 9 mm Pistol is built with a cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel, a recessed target crown and a polished chamber and feed ramp, as well as a slide with an external extractor and a loaded chamber indicator with aggressive slide serrations for improved manipulation. The enhanced grip textures enable quick follow-up shots in most conditions, while the shortened grip delivers easier concealment.
