Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick Sharpen I've used this sharpener for a few months now. Barely takes any time to get my knives to razor sharpness. A must have, especially when on hunting trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great sharpener I bought this a while back and it is amazing. it sharpens my blades 8 minutes tops. It gets my knifes razor blade sharp and they stay that way too. I could have gone a whole duck season without sharpening my knife.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value and works well This is every bit as good as the accu-sharp for bringing back a dulling edge - and it's more compact. That is to say it will touch up a blade and true up a ding, but it's not a substitute for an annual (or so) sharpening by a professional - or with a good set of stones or diamond hones. Minor drawback is that the size makes the grip not quite as sound as the accu-sharp handle is, but it hasn't been a serious problem.

is this large enough to use on a larger knife? Not just an average 4" folding knife, but a slightly larger fixed blade knife...

How long does it last?

Asked by: Hunter of hunters
I bought mine at least 4 years ago at Harbor Freight, sharpen all my kitchen knives and my pocket knife frequently. No signs that the sharpener is wearing.
