Just won't quit!
I bought a classic 1.1qt bottle several years ago after my father refused to give me the one he's been using for the past 30 years (you'd think he was a big Stanley fan, too). I often go hiking/camping in the mountains nearby and this thermos always goes with me. I recently purchased the 16 ounce thermos for work since I didn't need to haul this beautiful beast back and forth to the office. Whether big or small, Stanley thermoses just don't quit! You've got a lifelong fan with me (and apparently my dad, too).

Disappointed. Leaks when filled with hot coffee
I recently purchased the CLASSIC VACUUM INSULATED BOTTLE | 1.1 QT and it leaks out the cap after it is filled with hot coffee.
Yes, the cap is tight.

I have to share this with you all. My Dad has had one of these type of flask his whole life and when we were kids we bought him another one for his birthday. Keep in mind I am fourty now and my Dad lives in another state far away from where I am. But he has used this flask for work, fishing, camping and everyday run around. It even has a huge dent in the side where it had been run over by a bulldozer. True every! He loves it and swears by it. Thanks for listening.

Great Since 2004
I recently purchased An Adventure Camp Cook Set for my expeditions into the wild. I thought I was buying one that a friend suggested to me but oops. I got the wrong one. However, I found that the cook set I bought is superior to the one I meant to buy. So, on the packaging it mentions the thermos that grandpa took fishing. Yada yada... I sure do remember it! It wasn't grandpa's, it was mine. So, I looked it up on this website just to see what all it said about it. Then I got it from the next room and read the bottom of it. History right there! It's imprinted with 04 which is when I bought it to use as a security guard (first job after the war). The time line adds up for sure! I have not used it everyday but I have used it a lot since 2004 and I have never had an issue in thirteen years. It keeps the coffee hot for hours. It's really too heavy for a backpacking trip but for everything else, it's great! Now, I wish I knew how to get my name imprinted on the side of the thing! lol maybe the nephews will inherit it after I'm gone! This thermos is a winner!

Great performance- Works even with LN2
Purchased other Stanley model but was called back since issues regarding construction so I got this. In the beginning I thought this was extremely big but I get used to it. Most of the time I use to transport coffee and water. Keeps temperature very well.
Some time ago i decided to do some extreme overclocking tests using this thermo to fill CPU pot and works very well. Expected nothing since read bad comments and people said I should buy a LN2 special thermo, but those are very expensive.
Long story short it retains good temps, external layer is about 5-8°C with 20°C ambient. Almost no loss if I leave thermo filled.
Overall im very satistied with this purchase, have it since 2 years ago and if I need another I can purchase from a lo cal distributor in Pucon, Chile.

Excellent thermos!
I purchased my classic Stanley thermos in 1991 (26 years ago), use it almost everyday for hot water since then and it still works great. The classic green paint is nearly all worn out and has some scratches and dents as well, but it looks very nice indeed. Is like an old warrior that never gives up. I work in rural business and farms, so it has a hard life in fieldwork and different machines.

Amazing!
I've had this thermos for three or four years now and it's one of the best things I bought. I've camped with this and after putting hot coffee (150°F) in there, it was still around 80°F over 24 hours later in 16 degree weather.
