I have a rule-mate 750 that needs to be replaced. Want to replace with same. Do the wires connected to the existing pump pull out like a plug from an outlet? Or do I have to cut the wires and reconnect the new pump using some kind of connectors?

Is this a two wire or three wire installation?

Asked by: Roadhog
Hello Roadhog, The Rule Rule-mate® 750 gph Bilge Pump has a 3 wire installation. The black pump wire connects to negative (-) side of the battery. Brown pump wire connects to the automatic side of the switch. Brown with white stripe wire connects to the manual side of the switch.
