needs helpSeemed like a really good design, but after getting it in water it will tend to flip over on its side. Needs weight to keep level or needs to be secured. Makes plenty bubbles. Went back to my stones.

Great productI bought about a month ago and the product does what it's suppose to and produce air bubbles effectively. I installed two of them in my live well and the fish last a lot longer now. Only issue I have come across is that they are not very well waited to I had to silicon them down so they don't flip over. Other then that it's a great product that does what it's suppose to

Did the jobLast year I bought one of these to replace an aeration stone that I use in a 700 gallon fish pond in my yard. The aerator is on 24/7 365 days a year. It provided a much better aeration stream than the one it replaced so I bought these to replace the second one in the system and to expand the aeration to 2 other ponds of 300 gallons each. These stones produce larger air bubbles than the system's original stones and I believe are more effective in keeping open air holes when the pond starts icing over in the winter. I live in KS so we generally don't get real heavy pond ice nor does it last throughout the season.
Do I need a big bubbler to run this larger stone? Or will a normal bubble box work?

The Marine Metal Products 3" Round Airstone is intended to keep bait alive and aerates the water by increasing the oxygen in the water by pumping air through the stone. A filter is needed because it "filters" the water and removes any buildup and returns clean water.
