good but fragileThe scope worked well when I got it. Was very clear and easy to use. The tripod that came with it was ok but flimsy. That's ok, I expect them to have to cut corners to sell at such a low price. I just used another tripod that I have and it worked out just fine. The first days use went without a hitch. On the second day, I went out to use the scope I went to look through the sight and couldn't see anything. Upon investigation there was something rattling inside. The scope was never miss treated or dropped. It evidently just broke from being moved around a little bit while be taken inside. I had used a $20 off coupon to purchase this scope and I knew if I got a refund I would lose the $20 so I returned it to the store and was just going to exchange the scope but they didn't have another like it. So I got a refund and lost my $20 coupon.

It's exactly what it is a nice cheap spotter!Bought this earlier in the spring on sale and I'd say it's definitely worth what the sale price was (somewhere around 40$), got it to just spot targets at the range and it does its job, the tripods made of an aluminum frame which seems sturdy enough and has a lot of adjustments and features but all the levers and knobs are made from a very cheap brittle plastic so just know that and be careful not to go torquing on it with your big manly hands, final answer is that it should last a while with a little finesse and a case of some sort to put it in, but then you may spend more on a case than another scope. Or Simmons makes a little more expensive model with a hard case and a little better tripod.

Simmons 20-60 spotting scopeGot on time ,well packaged. Tried it out on 150 yards and was clear and pulled in image good. Spotting tube would be good, but did not pay goubs for it. Will do for my target practice.

An O.K Spotting Scope For The Money.I went to one of the indoor ranges to help zero my rifle. I wasn't able to use the scope the way I wanted too. If I set the scope on the bench , I couldn't lower the legs enough to see the target. When I used the legs to its full height. It wasn't tall enough to clear the bench. Anyway I'll buy another scope at a later date.

Decent Scope Horrible BaseThe base where the scope attaches to the tripod wobbles way too much. Nothing a little tape can't fix.
