Frame design flawI tried this product on in the store and it felt good on my build, I am 5' 3" and 120 lbs. I filled the bladder and placed it in the designated pouch without any issues. I loaded the pack with my lightweight sleeping pad and bag, towel, pillow, clothing, cooking and eating gear with a little room for food. My loaded backpack weighed 18.6 lbs and it felt good, at the house. I went on a 1 mile walk to make final adjustments and get used to my new backpack and I could quickly tell the bottom frame of the backpack, that sat against the top of my butt, was poorly designed. No matter how I adjusted the pack, I could not relieve the pressure of the exposed metal frame against my butt. I was able to lift or lower the pressure but I assure you, 18 lbs of pressure on your tail bone is uncomfortable no matter where it presses.
I took my backpack to work for a coworkers opinion, who has backpacked, and he had the same issue. His opinion was also that the pretty orange metal frame along the bottom of the backpack, was a major design flaw.
I like the backpack besides that, so I am going to try to engineer a solution rather than return the item. I would not suggest buying this item with what I know now, so be warned.
