Decent bat but not for a power hitterI bought this bat for my 10 year old son because his upcoming tournament this weekend will only allow aluminum barrel bats. He hasn't used an aluminum bat in 2 years since he dented his last Easton S500. He finally received it in the mail yesterday and was excited to take it to practice last night. He hit 20 to 30 game used balls with it and then kept it in his bag the rest of the time. After practice I checked the bat for damage since he is a strong hitter and I was worried about him denting it. Unfortunately I discovered a small flat spot on the barrel. I'm now going to have to wait until after the tournament this weekend to try and turn it in under warranty otherwise he will not have a bat to use and I don't want him damaging anyone else's bat. On the plus side, he did comment to me about the fact that it is lighter than his Easton Mako XL. I liked the fact that he was still able to hit to the 200 ft mark since he has been used to a heavier composite bat. I'm sure that this bat would be good for a less powerful hitter that doesn't want the sting from a full metal bat.

Very nice bat with a huge sweet spot that won't break the bankJust like I said before. Nice bat with a huge sweet spot. Plus, it won't break the bank. Players are able to get nice feel and good solid hits no matter where they are making contact, giving them more confidence at the plate. I am really impressed with this little performer. Big time attributes from a Minor League budget.
