Everything in one packageThis reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Travismen028 months ago
I looked at several backpacking tents from several different companies and I picked this one. I could have picked one that was lighter but would have spent at least double the price. I am over 6ft tall and myself and all my gear fit inside with more room. Those lighter and more expensive tents sometimes dont come with a footprint.
Great tent but poles will breakThis reviewer rated product 3 out of 5 stars.trailtears2 months ago
I loved this tent and used it about 8 -10 times, then the poles started splitting. I contacted Academy (they are the actual maker of the tent) and they said they don't make or carry replacement poles for this model. So now I have this tent that could go for years more, but I can't use it because 1 of 2 poles isn't functional. I guess that's why it's cheap in price. Otherwise, great tent.

Just what I neededThis reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.rg park volunteer1 year ago
I volunteer at national forests and parks doing trail work. I use a ground tent. I saw some tents that you could set up in the back of your pickup but they looked like a lot of work for the money. I saw the Magellan A-Frame tent that does exactly what I needed and at a really cheap priced compared to the other option. It works great easy set up and is a perfect fit in the bed of my truck. (Most tents have side openings but I needed an opening from the front for access)i
Great lightweight tent for overnight camping! This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Klein Camper1 year ago
This tent is a great little lightweight tent to put up fast and get back to having fun. Easy to put up with only one person and easy takedown as well. Great quality and price and a great option to have for an extra tent to bring along for that new or inexperienced camper to ensure everyone has a great time.

Pack Light For Your Trip
Packing for a multiday hike in the wild? Designed for easy carrying across long distances, backpacking tents offer a lightweight, compact alternative to traditional tents and screen houses, so you won't feel weighed down while journeying over hills and rough trails on foot. Often able to sleep just 1 or 2 people, backpacking tents offer compact designs and simple frames that are easy to set up in the evening and take down in the morning, so you can enjoy your trip.
Stay Dry In The Rain
If rainy weather is on the horizon, it's a good idea to have a backpack tent with a water-resistant design and a rainfly on hand. Walls and flooring with sealed seams and water-resistant finishes help prevent moisture from creeping in, so your sleeping bag won't get wet overnight. For added coverage in bad weather, choose a tent with a rainfly that covers your entire home-away-from-home.
Keep Your Gear Handy
Make finding your gear simple with a tent that comes with internal storage. Hiking tents with pockets help keep your phone, snacks, drinks and other items organized, and tents with flashlight loops let you light the interior hands free. If you're worried about keeping the inside clean, consider a tent with a hooded vestibule that allows you to keep dirty shoes and clothes safely outdoors.
