Great Starter Set
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Lynn LeFey1 year agoThe online description says Colt putter, but it actually comes with the Aviar. These discs are usually the 150 class discs, meaning that they're not more than 159g in weight. This makes them ideal for starting throwers. The Aviar is one of, if not the most popular putter mold, and works great for putt and approach. The Shark is a very solid, neutral flying midrange with gentle fade. The Leopard is a great starting fairway driver, again with a very mellow fade at the end of its flight. The ... plastic is known as 'DX' in the Innova line. It's their base plastic. It will get dented and banged up over time. That won't stop the discs from flying. It just makes them more 'understable'. This, combined with their light weight might pose issues down the line, but that would be after a LOT of rounds, by which time you'd know if you wanted to invest in heavier discs of higher grade plastic. This is a very good mix of discs for players just starting out, or those folks who just want to play the occasional casual round.

Better than expected!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Sweeney1 year agoI bought this about a month ago and it has been great. It seems to be about the right weight and softness for my 2 year old to give it a good throw and not be too afraid to try and catch it.

Great Putter
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.JamesR8 months agoI bought this disk about a month ago to start learning Disk Golf with. Within the first three holes I was able to control where I wanted to go with this disk. And by the sixth I was able to reliably throw this for over 100ft. Very easy to learn with and has great control. I'd highly recommend it for anyone else starting out

Best Lucid Defenders available!!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.FunkytownDG11 months agoBought the grey sparkle Lucid Defender about a month ago. This disc is a misprint that should be a Moonshine Hybrid and it glows so bright. Its also slightly less stable then Bio Defenders but still my most reliable disc. Highly recommend buying them.

Choosing Disc Golf Discs
Designed as a fun backyard game, disc golf is a great way to spend an afternoon with friends and family. As the name implies, the game is similar to golf, and the goal is to put a disc into the target in as few throws as possible. Different types of disc golf discs provide versatile flight characteristics. A driver-style disc has a sharp, beveled edge that provides increased speed and distance. When you're closer to the target, using a mid-range disc gives you greater accuracy, and for the final shot, a putter-style disc offers straight, predictable flight that's easier to place into the target. If you're new to the game, many golf disc sets include each type, so you can learn the differences.
Golf Disc Sets And Accessories
Disc golf discs aren't the only thing you need to play a friendly game of disc golf. While you can use landmarks, like a tree or park bench, as a target, many players prefer to use their own mobile targets that can be picked up and moved for each game. Golf disc sets are a great way for beginners to get into the game. Many of them include several types of discs as well as targets. For dedicated players, look into specially designed bags and backpacks that let you hold multiple discs more easily.
