I bought this prior to my Super Bowl party. I cook some ribs a week before and they came out great. I've been cooked a brisket and 4 racks of ribs. They came out excellent. I looked to YouTube to figure out how to Smoke food with this cooker. I found a website to give details for the food that I was cooking at the exact weight and when I wanted to eat it.

I have had this unit for about 3 years now. In comparison to both the offset barrel smoker and vertical smoker I have had, this one is great. I holds a lot of meat. Once you set a temperature, It holds within 2 degrees. The electronic controller is wonderful. The wood burning smokers that I previously used would vary by 100 degrees. The window is nice but all you can see is smoke when it is running. Maybe this is the point of the window. Putting the removable parts through a dishwasher every ... time I use it makes cleanup easy. At $200 bucks you can't beat it.

Since buying this smoker it has become my first choice for most thngs I am smoking..... It does a more mellow smoke since you can only add small quantities of wood at a time, and each fill lasts between 1/2 - 1 hour..... Something my GF prefers as I tend to overload my gas smoker for a much heavier smoke..... The only issue I have seen so far are that the electronic temperature control has issues if you try to start it below 30 degrees...... It will error out and you will have to hit the ... thermocouple with a torch for a few seconds to get the smoker to operate........ The smoker is well insulated and holds temperature no matter ambient temp. I will be adding a Masterbuilt cold smoker to it, but that is not a necessity to use it.

Bought this on sale around Christmas time and works well. I've smoked multiple batches of Andouille sausage with out any issues. Only gripe is this new design requires you to set it on blocks in order to use the masterbuilt cold smoker unit. So in essence it is not backward compatible with older designs.
