D100 are 17-4 stainless steel, not zinc! This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Doc Golf4 years ago
Academy is doing Wilson a disservice stating these are zinc clubheads. They are expensive trampoline 17-4 stainless steel, which is hard to bend. I have 3 sets (graphite and steel shafts) and have adjusted the lie/lofts on a Mitchell golf club bending machine, and it is tough work. The spring steel fights back (431 stainless steel can be bent 4 degrees; it is hard to move 17-4 even one degree). These are superb clubs. They were designed to help the high handicapper, but also to function for the ... better players. My club pro even uses them, and he can play with any brand or model he desires. Mid-sized head, moderately wide soles, great Lamkin grips (maybe 1/64th inch oversized, which I like). Stronger lofts, longer shafts - a real distance club that is easy to hit. Medium trajectory. Good Texas iron set because of the Texas winds.
