Courtious Customer Service Department
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Lenn2 months agoI bought my Lifetime Sport Fisher kayak two years ago. Along the way I made a few upgrades to make my fishing time more pleasurable. I recently lost the hatch cover and contacted Customer Service to see about getting it replaced. Two days later I received a reply that the company would send me a new cover under warranty, no charges. I wasn't expecting the generosity or quick response. I'm very pleased to find Lifetime Products promotes high customer satisfaction.

Good for Learners
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Moali1 year agoI had one trip using this kayak so far, and it was not bad. The motor and battery experiment that I tried to apply to it didn't work well. Battery and motor are heavy to be all located at one side of the boat also controlling kayak is not fun running with motor. Padelling and fishing is fun using it. Size of the kayak ( 10")is perfect to store and to load to my truck.

Lifetime kayaks make for a Lifetime of memories
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Burnsyb20842 months agoI bought this kayaks on a whim. And I'm thankful I did because it has provided a tremendous sense of peace in my life. I now have 3 of these kayaks to share the experience with family and friends. These kayaks are easy to lift to get in and out of the water. They fit perfectly inside my vehicle and are sturdy and glide perfectly in the water. I have taken my kayaks through ponds, rivers, and intercoastal waterways. And have seen bald eagles, dolphins and rainbows. I will never buy ... another brand of kayak ever. Thank you Lifetime for a LIFETIME of memories .

Perfect Small Kayak
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Just Another Runner2 years agoIt is small, reasonably light, fun in the water, and it still float with me, my wife, and my dog on it at the same time! (even tho it was quite squished). The only thing I didn't like is trying to carry it for long distances. There isn't really a great way to carry it. So I would just hold it over my head, but that means the kayak is pretty much the only thing I could carry. Besides that, it is awesome.

Great Starter Kayak!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Ajones154 years agoI bought this kayak a month ago, and it has been just what I wanted for my first kayak. Very easy to transport and maneuver in the water. The first time I used it for 5 hours, and did not get wet, except for a little water as a result of my paddling. Tons of fun for the price!

Great all around fishing kayak
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Chuckie4 months agoBought my Pro 120 a year ago for local bass fishing. It is my favorite of three I own. It is fast, tracks well and does great on lakes and rocky creeks. I like to customize and do DYI add ons to suit my fishing. This boat is a good base for folks that like to customize (see pic). In my opinion, this boat is the best bang for the buck in fishing kayaks.

Great fishing Kayak!
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.jsimp207 months agoJust bought this kayak and was able to try it out for the first time in St. Joe’s bay collecting scallops! Tracks very well and easy to load and unload by yourself. Also it’s stable enough to stand up in it while you fish. Only downfall is the two rod holders are not deep enough and are too wide to hold a rod in place. Seat is very comfortable though!!

Great kayak for LA lakes and bayous!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Superish Mom2 years agoI bought two of these for my son and husband for Christmas. They fish out of the various lakes, canals, bayous, and rivers in Southeast LA and love them! They maneuver easily and the rod holders and strap areas are ample enough the carry several poles and a small ice chest. They loved them so much that two of their friends and my father also went out and got the kayaks!

Nice Kayak
This reviewer rated product 3 out of 5 stars.CGoebel4 years agoI just bought this and took it home .very nice looking, love all the fishing pole holders. I was kinda disappointed in the fact that all the drain holes were plugged with plastic, and not cut out all the way, and the dry storage parts had handfuls or plastic shavings. I am hoping it floats and sealed well, also that i can some how cut out the drain holes all the way . I have seen so many good reviews and was a little sad to see the manufacture mistake letting a kayak leave like that. :( ... over all cant wait to try it out and hoping the rest of it is as good as i heard about.

STAND UP!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.YouKnowWhoThisIs3 years agoIf you like to stand & fish, this is the kayak for you! 33inches wide with the tri-hull design you can literally stand all day. This kayak is much more stable than my SUP Paddleboard. I've only had it for 2 weeks, have taken it out 4 times and stayed on the water 5 to 7 hours each time. I only sit to re-tie or something. Also I only use a SUP Paddle which works great, and might even be a little faster. The 4-rod holders are great, and I'm not sure you can bring enough gear to fill this yak up. ... This is the fourth kayak I've owned and by far the most stable, and with out a doubt my favorite.

Awesome Kayak
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.havok10213 years agoBought this kayak last year initially for my son & I to share when we go camping. He is now 11 and the first time he took it out he spent hours and hours over the weekend out on the lake fishing. Comes with an "ok" padded seat/backrest but better if you put more padding under your bottom and a small rope & anchor set, and one scotty type pole mount. I looked at every budget friendly kayak everywhere and finally decided on this one mainly because of the whopping 500# rating it offers. Yes it is ... overkill but it allows useful weight for gear, a cooler or whatever else you want to take with you. My son & his granddad BOTH road this at same time and it was not sitting low in the water at all. Easy to paddle!!! I did get some water inside under the hatch (maybe 2 cup fulls) during the entire weekend and after like 8 or 9 ppl used it. Hopefully buying a 2nd one soon so 2 ppl can go out together for a mini fishing trip when not using the boat. Definitely an awesome deal especially being rated at 500# when most everything else is 225# - 250#

Great starter kayak
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.JC19992 weeks agoI’ve taken this kayak out into lakes, ponds, and saltwater and it has served me well. I’m 6’1” and about 275, and have found this kayak to be very stable, even if it’s fairly short. The only reason this gets four stars is because it is in your best interest to not stand in this kayak unless you’re a smaller person. Also, the rod holders could be better. Both of those are very minor inconveniences in my eyes, given I’m never really trolling anything behind me nor do I care to stand on the kayak. ... Storage is ample, and the little box in the center along with the rail mounts on either side makes electronic setups simple. Great starter fishing kayak.

AWESOME KAYAK
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.kayak452 years agoI have had this kayak for about a month now and it is awesome. Very stable and one of the most comfortable kayaks I have ever been in. It also glides on the water with little effort. I weigh about 180 lbs and no water comes into the kayak through the scrubbers. Overall best kayak I have ever owned. Definitely a keeper

Great Fishing Platform!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.rossr153 months agoI bought the Pelican Premium Enforcer 120X in late November 2017. I love it! Very easy to customize. I have added another rod holder and a Humminbird Piranhamax 4 depth finder. I have been slaying striped bass and hybrid striped bass for the last two months. Stable and seaworthy. I am usually fishing in unprotected open waters of the lakes that I fish in and have not felt uncomfortable at all!

Yak works well
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Allen553301 year agoI have had this boat for a couple months now, works well, tracks well, easy to paddle and moves well through the water. Stability is somewhat an issue if you want to stand. I'm 210 pounds and can stand in it but it's sketchy. I agree with the other review, fish ruler is not in an ideal spot, would like a cup holder, and the rod holder is to far forward(I'm 6'1 and it's a reach for me). For the price I don't think you can go wrong. I looked for used kayaks found some deals but in the end I ... thought this was the best fit for me. Overall, I am satisfied, works great for me and always looking for an excuse to get it in the water.

Mom on a budget, love this kayak!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Wilderness hiker6 months agoMy six year old son really wanted to go kayaking. I waffled between separate adult and kids kayaks, tandems, canoes, etc. Since I'm not the richest I opted for two kids kayaks. I was in the weight range at 129 pounds. I was expecting these to be very hard to steer, sink, take on water, etc. These were stable and solid! Our plugs never leaked, and steering was a breeze! Even for my young son. He looked like he'd been doing it his whole life. Eventually when he got tired, I was able to tie ... a thin line to him and tow him with ease. A great fun product!! I should mention that they both fit in my van, so no need for a roof rack or trailer. They can easily be wiped down with a towel too. No waiting for dry out! Fits in a closet too.

Kids Love This 6 Foot Kayak!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Steve78910 months agoIt was time to re-open our pool for the summer. My wife wanted me to pick up some blow-up floats for the kids to play on. Seems like an annual ritual. I saw this kayak and realized that it would probably last forever, and the kids could play with a REAL boat! They LOVE it. It doesn't come with paddles, so I purchased them separately. I bought two of the kayaks and plan to take them to the lake, also. The only thing I can say negative about them is that the instructions state that ... a flexible rubber seat back is included, but I didn't receive this, nor is it show in the advertising. Not worried about it, as it probably wouldn't hold up very long anyway. These things will probably last long enough to be passed down for generations. MUCH better than the blow up pool toys!!!!!

Great kayak for the money
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Justin1 day agoReally nice kayak for the money the seat is surprisingly comfortable and has a lot of room to move around the storage compartment is rather large which is nice if you have a ton of stuff The down side is this doesn’t come with a paddle but leaves you to the option of customization of color to match your yak

Qulaity kayak for it's price range
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Thatoneguywiththatkayak2 years agoThis is a great kayak! Handles well, tracks well, and is very stable! I like the fact that it is a self bailing vessel, and has molded footrests. Although, the footrests are somewhat slippery, so much so that my Chacos slip off of them. Barefoot or watershoes is the way to go. Other than that, this kayak is great! Comfortable seat, ample storage, and drain plug all make this a great kayak!

This is a $250 kayak.
This reviewer rated product 3 out of 5 stars.AJ7894 days agoUnimpressed with the build quality. More unimpressed with how poorly Academy stores and ships their kayaks. I received mine with broken tie down rings and deep gouges in the hull. Will be contacting corporate and Magellan to attempt to have these issues compensated for.

Nothing fancy but gets the job done
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.SWMO Fishing 23 days agoI got this two years ago and have outfitted it for fishing by adding rod holders, cleats and plugging up those annoying holes in the bottom. I find it to be decently stable and capable of running semi rough chop 1-2ft. I would not recommend tackling bigger waves in it but might just for fun on a hot summer day ( with a pfd and no fishing gear ). It can run shallow ( 4 inch water with me in it ). I don't like the back compartment ( lid too small ) so I took it out. The storage mid boat is semi ... dry but can leak if you get a lot of water in the boat. The bottom of my boat is very scratched up but has no holes yet.

Incredible Deal
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.MattinHouston2 weeks agoOk. This is a brand new tandem, with seats, that floats and retails at less than $400. The 5 star review could end here. But it doesn't because it's actually really nice. My family has taken this kayak out 9 times over the last month. It is very sturdy and easy to control (even for 1). I have pulled the drain plug everytime to check - so far it hasn't taken in any water. I have had all combinations of 1, 2 and 3 people on this kayak with no issues. It is a great kayak. No frills ... whatsoever - just a great affordable kayak.
