Nice unitThis reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Rob and his mob2 years ago
I bought my Zeus weapon sight a year ago and all this time I didn’t have even slight problems with it. This is a durable, accurate scope that is able to withstand recoil with no impact on unit’s performance. 42mm lens allows me to observe scenes without missing any detail and thanks to this lens size my scope is way lighter than the one with 75 mm lens or bigger. Scope’s menu offers loads of ways to adjust it to your needs, yet navigation is as simple as ABC.
Best 336 Core Long Range ScopeThis reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.James1 year ago
Purchased this scope through Night Vision Guys a Armasight Dealer after they recommended it for a long range model. The 75mm 5X lens gives great clarity and ID ability well beyond 200 yards out yet doesn't break the bank price wise. For ranges 150 yards and less I would recommend the 336 42mm Zeus it has a bigger FOV for closer range shooting, that said this 75m is unbeatable for wide open county. Using lower magification thermal scopes I found myself always using the 2X zoom to make the ... shot which hurts your clarity. With the 75mm I rarely have to use the 2X or 4X zoom so I get max clarity out of the the 336 core using the native 5X. Overall great scope for the money plus easy to use controls and menu setup. This review was originally posted to armasight.com.

Great scope! This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Opwan12 months ago
All I can say is WOW! I tried 3 different night vision scopes, not thermal, and wasn't happy with any of them. I really wasn't expecting too much out of the lower priced thermals like the Predator. Well I was dead wrong! Anything alive lights up like a Christmas tree. Resolution is great up to 2X after that it does get a little pixelated but still shootable. I really don't see a need for going over 2X for my usage anyway. Watched 6 does the other night unmounted and at 150 yards could see their ... ears. My son said he could see our Labradors heart signature at 70 yards. If you wanna kill coyotes and pigs at night, look no further. This review was originally posted to armasight.com.
My go to optic for almost everythingThis reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Greg2 years ago
I have had the Predator 336 2-8x25 optic for about a year now. Since then quite a few friends have purchased thermals on my recommendation. I think it's a great little optic out to about 200 yards. After that distance and using the digital zoom, the in scope resolution goes down quite significantly. You can still identify targets for the most part, but not a lot of detail. For my usage it's quite good though. Most of my pest shots are typically around 100-150 yards. It's quite amazing ... what you can see in a different spectrum. I've taken this scope to people's houses, looked throughout their homes and let them know where they are losing money and aren't insulated. You can see all the heat loss areas in any house or building. Not really it's intended purposed, but it's still pretty awesome. There are a few limitation on the scope. Although you an see through rain, fog, snow, etc, when any of those are happening, you tend to see a sort of haze through the optic as the rain or fog in the air is typically colder than the ground or ambient temperature so I think that's where the haze comes from. The battery life stated at 4 hours seems a little generous. The Evergreen CR123 batteries that my device came with only lasted maybe an hour. Since then I have been only using Energizer batteries and seem to get two or three hours, but never even close to 4. I did break down recently an purchased the Extended Battery pack on Fleabay at a costly charge and am able to use some high end 18650 batteries to get some really good battery life out of the optic. It's a pricy battery pack for sure at over 2 bills. ATN has a battery pack that only runs $99 for their newer optics which is a little more reasonable. The optic seems to retain it's zero when removed and reattached to the same rifle as long as you don't need to re-adjust the 1913 rail attachment. The rails on my Savage FVSR are a little wider than the rails on my AR and require a small adjustment which I have found knocks one of the rifles off zero. I mainly keep the thermal on my .22 now, but if I need to I can throw it on my AR and get close after changing the "in scope menu rifle profile." Overall, this is a great scope for the average person. If you have lots of money definitely get the best you can get, but I don't think you will be disappointed with this optic knowing a few of the limitations. Make sure you do your research before getting one though as they are large purchases. My wife about shot me after I got this one so be aware. :) Like the title says, this is my "Go to" scope for pretty much everything. This review was originally posted to armasight.com.
