love this stand!!This reviewer rated product 3 out of 5 stars.joh johnson1 year ago
I bought this a week back and love it. I had a api stand before this one which was a little lighter but the seating hurt my back really bad. Bought this stand and first morning killed 2 doe and a nice 10 point buck. The only down side to this stand is the seat isn't much better than the api. Everyone told me it would be alot more comfortable than it is. I want to try and get the upgrade seat and hope that helps. Im 28 years old and my backs shot so seating is a must for me cause I just can't ... give up my hunting. But the stand itself is awsome. Really wish the seats wasnt so exspensive though.
Solid, Quality ClimberThis reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Chris7531 year ago
I did lots of research on this stand before buying the Summit Viper Classic. Most people stated that it was the most comfortable stand they ever used, and some complained that it was heavy compared to the Summit Viper HD. I bought it on sale at Academy Sports and ordered it. It came pre-assembled and easy to use. I attached "Third Hand Archery Stabilizer Straps" to it, and took it hunting (I use the Stabilizer Straps on every climber, it makes every climber more safe). I climbed about 50+ ... feet comfortably and was able to hunt for hours comfortably. I highly recommend this stand for the price. It is a bit heavy but the construction is solid...It was listed for $179 and I paid $205 after taxes, shipping, and delivery to my house. I will deal with a few extra pounds any day with that price and quality. (Note: I also have the Summit Specialist HD which is 14 pounds, and I actually prefer the Summit Viper Classic for the comfort and added safety of the stand).
