Just What I Needed!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.mommy2twins10009 months agoReally happy with the Magellan Outdoors Portable 1 Person Utility Tent. Purchased to use as a camp shower/restroom for a recent camping trip, and it was just what I needed. This tent is easy to assemble/disassemble, it's sturdy and roomy, and it has multiple accessories for hanging a camp shower and for storing toiletries. I used it for showering and, when not used for showering, I used it to store a port-a-potty. It was perfect for both. The only downside was that the floor didn't drain to ... the sides without a little help (after use, I placed a rock under the middle of the floor to cause the water from showering to run off to the drainage mesh around the edges of the floor. It even comes with a handy carrying bag.

Only ONE dislike

Kansas Tornado Weather Proof!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Jessestanley201210 months agoSo this was an emergency I-didnt-have-my-reciept-when-I-returned-my-megellen-instant-tent-that-didnt-withstand-a-breeze-but-we-already-have-another-camping-trip-planned-tent. LOL We set it up in a storm and didn't have time to waterproof it before it started . We had to leave the the campsite because we thought we would have to find shelter and we just knew the tent wouldn't be there when we got back. (I even lost 10 dollars in a bet that it wouldnt be there). The wind almost blew US over ! ... Y'all, it WAS STILL RIGHT where we left it and not a drop of water was in it when we returned. Absolutely fantastic tent! Super spacious! Easy set up even in VERY strong winds under funnel clouds.

Great tent.
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.watts6 months agoI purchased this tent for me and my wife to camp at Indiana State Parks. We absolutely love the ease in setting it up and taking down. The screen room is perfect for storing supplies if needed. It is spacious inside to have our queen size air mattress and a little fan. The pockets are great for our glasses and little things. It rained one night and the inside of the tent kept dry. The tarp we had underneath had little puddles but tent floor was dry. Maybe need a cover of some kind for screen ... room but other than that it is a great tent. As with all Coleman tents this has gone back in the bag without problems.

It was fun to sleep in a teepee
This reviewer rated product 3 out of 5 stars.Roscar3 weeks agoWe took Wenzel’s Shenanigan to Garner State Park for a weekend in late March. The tent is easy to set up, but with only one supporting pole, we were worried it might not fair well in the wind at night. The tent did survive the night, but I would be hesitant to use it on a trip where rain is predicted. Our teepee housed two adults who have a lot of unnecessary camping gear. Sleeping five seems like a bit of a stretch. Doable, but not necessarily comfortably. Overall, the tent was fun, ... easy to assemble and well ventilated. However, my chief concern is how the three zippers on the doors come together, leaving a slight gap. During the height of Texas-insect season, this could be a pretty big problem.

Easy set up -- no problems in thunderstorm!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Joseph2 weeks agoI bought this teepee to replace a large and cumbersome tent. It's lightweight and set up is a breeze! (under10 minutes). The first night I was in a rainstorm and had no rain blow in or anything (I did use 2 cans of waterproofing spray before going out camping just to be safe--I do this with all my tents before use). Held up in moderate winds (30 to 40 mph) and rain. I definitely recommend this one -- it's light and perfect for one or 2 people.

Very good value on a well-made tent
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Keyworth10 months agoWe bought this tent several months ago so that we would have a few more creature comforts on car-camping trips to the coast and the mountains. Went up easily (2--persons in about twenty minutes). Very spacious, great ventilation. Immediately enjoyed the netting option on this tent as the mosquitos were pretty heavy and hungry that day! We also got it rain-tested the next day when a line of heavy showers rolled in unexpectedly; several hours of torrential downpour and not a leak to be found. ... It's advertised as a 6-person tent, and there certainly is room for that many, or two adults and a pile of gear.We plan to use this as a basecamp and hike, bike ride and horseback ride . Very affordable with the usual dependable Coleman quality. I am not a big fan of the aluminum tent stakes that Coleman supplies with it's tents as I have found that they are not as durable as I would prefer; they tend to bend easily in tough ground. I tossed all mine and replaced them with 5" MSR Groundhog stakes for hard ground. Other suppliers have similar offerings for a reasonable price. That is my only objection for an otherwise very well-made, affordable shelter.
