Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's okay....and that's being nice Bought this today 12/7 at my local academy in anderson sc. I gave it 1 star because it was packaged nicely. I gave it another star because it came with batteries and turned on. That's it. I have a stag model 3 ar and the barrel clamp would not fit the standard barrel. No matter how tight it was screwed, the entire mount still moved and was not secure. The pressure switch only turned the light on in the brightness it was last turned off with. The pressure switch would not do anything else, which isn't a bad thing but 4 buttons are not needed for just turning the light on. The locking lever could not lock because of how tight the clamp was screwed on. The light was very bright and felt durable, and the brightness modes are nice. But the attachment clamp is big and bulky. Wouldn't recommend for a set up that will be used often.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from BRIGHT flashlight I have been looking for a flashlight to mount on my home defense shotgun. I was about to grab the BSA flashlight/laser combo then this one caught my eye. It has 5 modes including strobe and SOS flash. It cycles modes with each push of the button which makes it not so practical for home defense, because an intruder is not going to wait for you to get to the mode you want. It operates off of a pressure switch that mounts to your gun with an adhesive velcro strip. If pressed and released, after about 10 seconds it resets back to mode one (full brightness) at 220 Lumens. It also comes with a traditional push button switch so it can be used as a regular flashlight. For that reason I decided to keep it. I am going to mount it to my gun because I just wanted a light to illuminate dark places, and this one is bright enough to disorientate. I am going to recommend this light, but it is not for everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from super bright I have had this flashlight for months, the light is very bright, way more than cheap flashlights, it just floods an entire room. You have to click the button to turn it on and press it a little bit to change to the different modes, not a big deal, the button glows in the dark so it is easy to find it at night. If you are a ninja that needs a flashlight that doesn't make the click sound because your enemies will hear you then maybe this is not the flashlight for you. I gave mine to my father and he is very happy with it, then I got another one for me.  If you just want a super bright light for your home or your car, you cannot get a better deal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from To much button mashing The light output is okay, not great. The bad part is all the button mashing. You mash it once to come on, again to make it flash, another, and another, and so on. Wherever you left it, it comes on the next time in the next sequence. This is to much for defense. In an emergency, you want to turn it on and it is on, not click through different modes. I am returning and looking for something that just shines when you want it to. Looks fancy in store, not practical in real danger.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's ok, not great The light is bright enough, but not that bright, certainly no brighter than any other cheapo regular flashlight I've used in the past. It seems pretty durable. Having to click through all the different modes is annoying and not practical for a home defense or tactical weapon in my opinion. Your enemy isn't going to sit and wait while you cycle from 10% light to 100% or to the strobe/distraction light. The finger pad button on mine worked for about 2 minutes and then wouldn't activate the light anymore, no matter how you wiggle the cable. -1 for that considering I'm not the only one who has griped about it. Also, they pre-install one half of the velcro to the button pad, which if your tactical forend (like the Flex tactical forend), already has the same side velcro attached, you have to remove the velcro pad (on an already fragile button) to replace it with the correct side. Another -1 since they could have just left that off and let you decide what you need to begin with. All in all I wasn't happy enough to keep it. I returned it and will look into another solution. Definitely not worth the money IMO.
