Great fishing line....Try it you'll like itI finally made the switch to braid just last year. I only waited so long due to not wanting to take the time to learn the new knots and my newly acquired need for "reading glasses". I sat down with YouTube last February for the better part of a cold wet afternoon and mastered 3 new knots. In truth i really only use one not now 90% of the time(and it's superior with mono to my old standby).. With that said, I first tried suffix 332 30lb at the recommendation of a fellow fishermen at academy. I also heard the word "wind-knot" for the first time in my 40+ year fishing career. If you don't know it in time you might(hopefully not no pun intended).
I took the 332 suffix off my spinning before my third trip and went back to mono but re-spooled the 332 with the help of my 18volt dewalt drill and a homemade arbor on a 6500C.
I did love the small diameter and incredible strength but the braid experience wasn't pleasant with my mid-level spinning reels.
I finally upgraded to a new Stradic 4000 at Christmas and decided to try the benchmark and defacto standard- AKA -Power Pro 20lb. wow what a difference!!!
Love love love it. great handling, knot strength and casting distance. none better in my humble experience. I now have 30 lb PP on two old 6500 C3 and as well as 20lb PP on 3 bait casters. If you don't want to experiment do yourself a favor go with the classic powerpro on your spinning and bait-casters. I don't think you'll regret it. I still have mono on some reels and some are Braid with mono top-shot.
If your undecided at this point I understand but the benefits far and away outwiegh the pain of change. "Try it-You'll like it"

PowerPro PerfectI have 6 boxes of this line now in varying poundages. Absolutely love this line for strength, durability and castability. Academy always has the lowest price in town, especially when they have it on sale (frequently). The name says it all!
