To use the Gamo .177 Caliber Air Gun Cotton Cleaning Pellets, simply fire a felt pellet as you would a normal pellet to remove dirt, lead and fouling from the barrel. The pellets will help maintain performance but are not intended to replace cleaning with a rod.
