Great sightThis is my second ff3, the first is on a glock 22. After 3 years it's still holding 0! The second was an addition to a ruger 22/45 lite. The sight runs great but I would recommend the 3 moa not the 8 for that setup.

Very Happy So FarWith the use of a sight pusher to remove the old sight, it was easy to install and zero to the gun. I shot it today at the range and enjoyed the session. Mine is an 8 MOA dot and is easy to pick up and at handgun distances the dot size seems just perfect to me. The sight held its zero through the 50 rounds I fired.

Great customer service and a good product. The first one broke after 7 months but Burris stepped up and made it good in no time. I ordered a second Fastfire III because I use them for competitive pistol shooting and wanted a backup... just in case.

Great sight!I purchased this sight less than a month ago and mounted it on a modern sporting rifle. Due to my bad eyesight I wear bifocals and target acquisition with regular sights is not possible, and using a scope requires too much time (in my opinion). I purchased the 8-MOA sight and I am extremely pleased with it. Not only is target acquisition fast, but I can shoot with both eyes open with no problems. Zeroing at 25 yards took a little more time than I expected due to the small amount of movement with each click, but for the best accuracy I was very pleased with the small movement. The only drawback was that I forgot to turn the sight off one time and ran the battery down, but now I remove the battery after each use. I have only fired around 90 rounds with this sight but I have not had any deviation from the original zero.

Number 4Just received my fourth fast fire 3, so obviously I like the sight. Only thing is this one has problems with the switch. So before I got to use it I had to send it in for service, which I really don't like to have a new item worked on before using it. One other one I have, the switch is finicky on but works. Probably should have given 5 stars, just upset for having to put more money out and waiting on it.

Battery cover problemI purchased the Fast Fire III and mounted it on my Ruger MK III. The first visit to the range to sight it in thRobertoe battery cover came off not once, but twice. I hope this is not going to be an ongoing problem. Other than that the sight worked great, I'd like to put one on all my pistols, but the battery cover problem needs to be solved first.

Great when it works, but shuts off on rapid fireFirst off I'm a FastFire fan. I own 4. So either the FF3 I got is a dud or they just are not designed to handle rapid fire common to 3 gun matches. I installed it on a Glock 34 MOS and it was great with slow fire. But as soon as I put two on each of 5 targets quickly it shut off. Brand new battery. It's too bad because it was very accurate, but if it can't stay on it's worthless.

Quality and affordable red dotI have both the 3 MOA and the 8 MOA that I have used on a S&W CORE 9 mm. Both have performed flawlessly and have held up to thousands of rounds in competition. The only problem that I had was the battery cover loosening which happened because I did not have the cover tight enough in the first place. Put a small mark on the cover and it did not move again. Easy to install on a CORE and although the dot is not co-witnessed with the sights, it is close. The biggest set-up problem I had was tightening the battery cap. For some reason it was easy to cross thread on the 3 MOA model but not the 8 MOA model. Maybe just a quirk in that particular sight. Line up the sights and you will see the red dot. Very visible in all lighting conditions and I have not had to use the shade cover even when shooting in the bright Colorado sun. The 8 MOA dot seems a little better for competition pistol shooting but the 3 MOA dot was also adequate.

Hi. I live in Canada and want to buy this. Would you be able to send this with a lower value on the package so I don't get dinged with import charges and tax ?? Thanks

will it mount on a glock g40 10mm
Asked by: hunter518
Thank you for your question. The Burris FastFire™ III Red-Dot Reflex Sight mounts on handguns, shotguns, and hunting rifles with a picatinny rail. The Glock G40 10mm features Glock’s Modular Optics System (MOS) for mounting reflex and red-dot sights. This means the Glock G40 and the Burris FastFire™ III Red-Dot Reflex Sight are a great pair.
