I've Worn This Product fo15 Years! The supports are made of two pieces that are super-glued together, 1) a green-colored, quarter-inch thick, high-durable felt-like pad and a 2) hard, but flexible, plastic base. I bought my first Spenco OrthoticArch supports 15 years ago for $30 and am still wearing them. They are very durable and have held up well, except that in the last few years I had to re-glue the pad to the plastic base a few times. I finally bought a second pair when the price dropped way below $30. You have to first boil them in water for a couple of minutes to shape the arch. After that, the arch should keep it's shape for years. To clean, use some hot water and soap and hand wash them. I don't know what would happen if you tossed them in the washing machine because the original and the new instructions tell you to hand wash only, so that's what I've always did. It will take awhile to get used to wearing them and they may have to be trimmed to fit your shoes. I've always worn them since I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis (PF). I feel naked without wearing them, and you will too. But they cured my PF and hope this pair is as durable as my original.

Comfortable orthodicsI bought these a month ago and they gave me instant relief. They are very comfortable and still leave plenty of room for my toes. You can't beat the quality and value compared to more expensive orthodics.
