Extremely fast shippingIn store I was quoted 7 days for shipping, product arrived in 4 days. No damage, even to the packaging.
Product from traditions was in finished. No drill holes for 90% of screws. Axils could not fit, holes had to be bored out with round file. One spoke arrived cracked had to repair on site. Did not come with some necessary parts but extra parts for same applications. Did not arrive with any form of diagram or instructions, had to biild using the picture on the box.
If your going to buy this product, you must have knowledge of assembling items with similarity. Must also have some tools available such as dremel/drill press, vice.
Product fires well, still haven't shot with the .50 projectile but firing "blank" sounds great and meets my needs.

Good quality, sturdy.I just got this and started putting it together, word of warning some of the pieces like the side plate through bolts and the wooden axle screw require some gentle persuasion to fit. The through bolts I had to tap through with a rubber mallet and there is no pre-drilled hole in the carriage trail for the screw (used a cordless drill with a flat head bit). Overall it's simple enough to put together I'm very pleased with it. I have not shot it yet but I'm planning to. I have everything I need I just have to find a location.

FantasticI am really happy with this cannon. Have wanted one for a long time and it was on sale before Christmas so I purchased it for myself. I have pre fitted it and assembled and I love it! Can't wait to finish and assemble it. Even if you don't want to shoot it, it is an awesome display, decorative piece as well! It fits together nicely and is easy to assemble.

How many grains of Pyrodex or black powder is used to fire it? Will hobby fuse work for ignition?
Asked by: JDSS
The Traditions Mini Napoleon III Cannon Kit uses a minimum of 10 grains and a maximum of 20 grains of Black powder or Pyrodex® in order to be fired. There are detailed instructions included in the manual upon purchase. It is strongly recommended that you use Traditions Cannon Fuse, A1264, which is manufactured to U. S. Government specifications to have a burn rate of 1 foot in 30 seconds +- 5%.
