Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use Sharpener Pretty cool design. Rods store inside the box. Comes with two different grade rods. one for sharpening and one for finishing. Has two different angles you can use depending on your blade angle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Easy! Purchased a knife a few months ago that started to lose that fine hair shaving edge it originally came with so I initially purchased the "Smith's Sharpening Kit" with the metal rods. After having a hard time keeping the blade locked tight and striping the screws, I ended up returning the item and as I was about to walk out I saw the Lansky rod sharpener for $19.99. After a quick google review I was pretty impressed how easy it was to use so I bought it. Took it out of the package and immediately went to work and boy did it perform! You can actually feel the knife getting sharper as you run it down the rods. Along with using a leather strop and some cleaning lubricate product my knife is once again razor sharp. The only negative draw I had with the sharpener was dealing with knifes with horrible China made steel. Anyways hope this review helps!
