Minor Issues.I bought the standard top along with the 16' legs at the beginning of our hunting season. Once assembled, and raised, the stand assembly is very sturdy, well balanced, and allows comfortable hunting. The construction was not easy when you are assembling the top and legs by yourself. I have bought other name brand tri-pods and all of them had been able to be assemble alone. Because of the weight and the awkwardness of assembling the two portions of the legs (especially the legs with the steps) it was very difficult to align the bolt holes together of the joining of the leg and the joining brace. When assembling the braces, it was difficult because the legs applied pressure by their weight and lifting the leg to align the bolt holes was very awkward also. I have had difficulty climbing up the ladder because the spaces between the steps is almost too high and I have to stretch to reach each step as I climb. I a only 5'5" tall, 29" inseam, and only weigh about 200 lbs. Short, stubby, (but good looking) people hunt also. The last problem is the fact that its placement of the bottom section braces and legs makes it almost impossible to attach a cord to raise your rifle and gear from the ground once you have climbed into the top. The placement makes the braces in the way and your gun, or bow, is almost always striking the braces as it is lifted up. The only other option is to climb the stand holding the weapon, which subjects you to the danger of falling. The stand itself is a great addition, and comfort to your hunting adventure once you get it assembled and work around the issues of climbing, if you are stubby, and attaching a cord to raise your gear and gun.

Very sturdy.I bought this along with the top and it was easy to assemble (the one shown is assembled wrong) and is extremely sturdy. It should last a long time. I only put one section on mine due to how thick the trees are at my feeder but a friend of mine also bought one and added the full extension. Mine was missing a couple of brackets but the people at the Academy in Lufkin Texas took very good care of replacing them. Very happy with my purchase.

OUTSTANDING QUALITYThis by far is the best built and best quality for the money.
This tripod is the easiest i've ever assembled and took less than two
hours to complete the bottom legs and the top section.
I will be purchasing more of these in future.
Superior to any other tripod i've owned. Strong, sturdy, and stable.
