Excellent light work glovesThese gloves are designed for light work, such as handling bags of dog food or homestead work. They aren't designed to handle wet conditions (...they are rubber...come on, people) or work conditions where you're handling heavy objects with jagged edges. I personally cut the tips down enough for my fingertips to dig or pry things.

Not what I hoped forI work on barges and handle wet ropes all day, I thought that these gloves would be the answer I needed to keeping my hands dry and not getting tore up. I was wrong. These gloves lasted me 2 weeks, the rubber in the thumb and pointer finger area is gone, which leaves me with a cotton glove. In my line of work is no good.

Poor QualityI bought 3 pairs so I could use a pair for yard work and a pair for my job which is working in a distribution center. The third pair was for my brother so he could have gloves while helping with yard work. The pair I used for work lasted maybe a full 10 hr. work day. The pair i used for yard work lasted 4 months. I thought it was maybe just that one pair i used for work that had some issue. I took the ones i used for yard work to my job and they lasted 3 hours.
I was expecting great quality considering the brand these gloves are. I would recommend these for yard work only but not anything job related if you work in a warehouse such as myself. I wouldn't even recommend these to my worst enemy at work. I think it is poor form for anything that Carhartt makes to be out done by a dollar pair of gloves that is provided to me through my job. Those gloves lasted 2 months before they finally called it quits. Poor form. These gloves either need to be put back on the drawing board and redone or put six feet under never to be heard from again.

Not a work gloveI have worked in the shipping industry for 6 years. I have tried every glove that has claimed to be for that industry. I have spent a lot of time and money testing every one giving it it's fair chance, including these gloves. I really wanted them to be the best because I love Carhartt. They are far from the best unfortunately. they do not stand up to the work even for a day. the design is meant to look cool but not to function. the raised treads on the fingers serve no purpose, they hinder overall grip and are the main point of contact with surfaces (in my case, cardboard boxes of varying sizes and weights) which causes them to be the main point of strain when lifting. the treads are tugged with each box and are quickly separated from the body of the glove and tear away. the longer the gloves are in use the worse they perform. i gave them multiple chances and they never lasted a full work day. not the Carhartt quality for the Carhartt price. I would advise Carhartt to discontinue these or to stop putting the raised treads on them. a smooth rubber surface doesnt look cool, but it's what works.

Great ConceptThese are a great idea however not as durable as they suggest. After 2 hours of stacking firewood, both gloves split in the area between the thumb and pointer finger. The right glove actually tore through the fabric. All that I was doing was flexing the glove by gripping firewood pieces. For a durable glove i wouldn't expect that to happen. If the molded rubber was a little more flexible maybe this wouldnt happen and the glove would be perfect.

not as good as i thoughtThe gloves restrict hand movement and keeps your hands semi closed I ordered these gloves according to the sites specs, Maybe if i went with the next size up they might be better, I dont know.
