Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap, inexpensive switch. Switch isn't much of a switch. The cap and tether broke off almost immediately.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I installed this on my trolling motor with no problems, pretty simple to do. I have been out fishing four times since and I like that it doesn't take much pressure to push the switch. The only issue I have had with the switch is that it will stick on at times and I have to tap it with my foot to unstick it. But I am happy to have it and lets me have my line in the water more often and that's what I wanted!

Your switch is the only one I've seen that says it can handle 36 volt trolling motors. My 36 volt motor has an amp draw of 52. Can you assure me this switch will work properly? What is amp rating of switch? What gage wire does it use?

Asked by: ChuckA
Hello, ChuckA. The Big Foot Trolling Motor Switch has a 40 amp rating and the wire is 10 gauge stranded with 106 degree and 600 Volt rating.
