Great grabber for priceI have have several products that CCA puts their name on. These Grabbers have been good for one season so far. Haven't had any problems. For the price, one really can't complain. Althought I have only used these on a15# fish, tops. It is important to oil these after washing. I had other products from CCA, and I wonder if they really test them before releasing them.

Broke in two spots after one year of light use...I waited a year to review these boga grips and I am glad that I did. The price was right, around $15 at the time of purchase, but the bogas did not hold up to light use after one year. The first thing that broke was the grip. The red hand grip slipped off of the metal underneath it while lifting a 18-pound fish. This was not a big deal, as I was able to glue it back in place. The frustrating part of these bogas that broke was the little metal "cotter pin" that holds the grippers in place. It slowly but surely began to loosen, and eventually the two opposing grips began to slid over each other and the teeth would lock up. The only way then to open the bogas was to use two hands and physically spread the teeth apart. They are still "functional" but a real pain in the butt to use when you don't have two hands free to mess with these things.
I can't bash these bogas too much for the price, but I have since upgraded to a set from another retail store and haven't had any issues like this. I won't go so far as to say don't purchase these, as your results may vary. Just be forewarned that the grip will undoubtedly fall off and the terminal end of the bogas may loosen/break over time. There are certainly other options out there in this price range.
