Poorly MadeAfter 3 months the boots fell apart. Do not waste money on these boots unless you like buying a new pair of work boots every 3 months

Awesome shoesBought these boots after my $129 Wolverines started to make my feet hurt. Bad construction on the Wolverines. Since I blew my yearly shoe allowance, I needed something inexpensive. These filled the bill. I work in a warehouse and drive a truck. I have never had one problem from them. I did put some different insoles in them and that just made them perfect. I going to buy two pair with my allowance this year and forget about the high priced boots. For comfort it's the insole that count anyway.

Comfortable, but not durableI purchased these boots 09/09/15 for new work-wear, which for me consists of a lot of standing and walking indoors - 10 hrs a day. My job is not typically outdoors or climbing/kneeling at a job site - light-duty compared to what a contractor/electrician/plumber would subject them to. I tried on 7-8 pairs of boots (at varying price points) in the store prior to purchase and bought these based on comfort rather than the reasonable price.
I have found them to be very comfortable and supportive for hours on end. I would rate them 4, maybe 4.5 stars for comfort.
Brazos touts these as being waterproof. My pair were not. After owning them for only two or three weeks I accidentally stepped into a small puddle only an inch or so deep. My foot was wet the rest of the day. I have waterproof hiking boots that I have stood ankle deep in frigid running water for several minutes without a hint of wetness, but these are not those boots. I would rate them 1 star for waterproofing.
After little more than a month of wear, the fabric in the uppers began to fray near the ball of my feet from constant flexing. Not sure if the material itself was beginning to come apart or was pulling loose from the stitching, but after a few days it didn't seem to get any worse. After ~3 months of wear, the leather just above the sole began to tear and within a few days the leather had split nearly 2.5 inches. This is beyond the normal wear and tear, but a materials/design defect. The soles were beginning to show obvious signs of wear in the tread - granted a lot of that is wearer dependent, but I've never had a pair of boots show that much wear in the soles that quickly. I rate them 1 star for durability as they didn't fall apart within the first week.
Returned these for store credit - total time to failure: 3.5 months.

Comfortable shoes, didn't last longI bought these shoes in Sept. and by Oct. there was a rip in the side of the material. They are comfortable, but shouldn't have tears one month into wearing them.

Why do these boots ware out after 3 or 4 months? The The soles of the boot is still in good shape. The side where the leather meets the soles does not last. I'm getting tired of having to replace my work shoes every 3 or 4 months.
