The Owner Stinger-36 Trebles™ Fishing Hooks straight points offer wide-gap hooking efficiency and vary in sizes from 2, 4, 6 and 8. The smaller in number you go the larger the fishing hooks gets. This is true for both the shaft length and the "gap" the measurement of distance between the shaft and the straight point.
The size will be determined by the fish being angled. As a rule, smaller fish will require small hooks. The smallest size is 32, with 20/0 the biggest one. If the fish hook goes beyond the #1, a zero (or aught) is affixed to it, so a size four is called four aught.
