Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Right In A 21/2" L-frame At first the ballistics chart on the box had me nervous, it seemed like the pressures were going to be extremely high or there must have been a mistake. The recoil seems normal when fired from a 6" Ruger Security Six and a S&W snub nose 686. After test firing at water filled 2litre bottles (6 total), the hollow point penetrated 3 bottles and caught in the third bottle. I was extremely happy at the penetration results and the mushroom-bullet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed thoughts. Took four boxes to shoot through my Smith & Wesson 686 - 3 and Taurus 605. Also had two boxes of Hornady and numerous boxes of 38 Special. I shot a total of about 400 rounds. Of those my Taurus never had a failure to fire. My Smith, though, failed one out of every third shot with monarch. The Smith has never failed to fire any other ammunition only the monarch. I've never had trouble from Monarch ammunition before but I've only really used it in 45 ACP and 9 mm. I never had trouble with either of those calibers. I have fed my Smith a steady diet of every kind of 357 + 38 ammunition I've come across with no failures. Will stick to better ammo even on the range. No fun with misfires.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good ammo for the money I have bought this ammo many times and never have had an issue. yes it is a little dirty but i like cleaning my revolver regardless of the brand of ammo i shoot. i have two .357's a Taurus 66 and a S&W. both are great guns and no issues with the Monarch brand. i do not hand load so not sure if the brass is loadable and don't care.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good so far I've yet to encounter any of the issues stated by other reviewers. I've shot a few boxes out of my Ruger Vaquero with no issues whatsoever. I will continue to buy these.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so good for me Not such a good buy for me. Boxes were damaged and had tape to hold bullets in. Very dirty bullet to shoot, need to clean gun soon.

Why can't you ship ammo to florida ? Your web site says you can ship ammo to florida. Asleep at the wheel? I just spent 30 minutes trying to buy several boxes of ammo.

Asked by: fordgt40
The USPS will not ship it to Florida, but UPS or Fedex will.
