Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really, really tough line. Purchased this braid in the 20lb, so far very pleased. It is just unbelievably strong and abrasion resistant for how thin it is. Only thing that cuts it is a sharp knife, just like a braid should be. Line feel is awesome if you're tying directly to the lure as well. I haven't experienced any of the issues others have mentioned... I just use a basic palomar knot (wetted) and then tighten as hard as I can get it. The line is slippery, so that's the only reason I can see for people loosing lures but it's also part of why it so casts well. You just have to check your knots well before letting them hit the water. Haven't had any issues with color fastness either, even after several months use, and no issues with line cutting in since it lays flat on the spool. Lately I've been using it with a long mono or fluro leader from 13lbs-30lbs joined with a basic albright knot looped 15-20 times. What else is there to say? You can rip it through weeds and brush with confidence, there's no worry about line break off when reeling in harder fighting fish like pike, AND it spools and acts like 6lb mono. It's a great deal for what you get compared to lines costing upwards of 25-30%+ more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from never used braid but good intro to that.. you get what you pay for in two things....fishing line and tires...dont be cheap...but if you are gonna be cheap this was a decient choice...pulled through the weeds good and never lost a lure on it....gotta reef on the knots on them braided lines boys...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to cast smooth and strong. I am writing this review because there is a lot of confusion about braided line. I have EZ braid 200 mm 20 pounds test on Shimano surf spinning reel. The line is better then PowerPRO super slick 8. Ez Braid is more stiff less flexible this prevents the line to get tangle up by the wind or when you let slack for a lure. Also the line doesn't get soft from the water it remains the same as when it is dry. The line dose not dig in when you retrieve under tention. It is a good product on a good price. In general braided line is not really abrasion resistant it simply to tine. I use 14 or 25 pound mono line for a leader and for my weight i use steel wire . I also use swivel on the hook and on the weight just in case. I hope this helps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst braid I have eve used I have never been so disappointed. I bought a roll of 15# at Walmart while on vacation cause I needed it in a pinch. Well line would snap every time on long hard cast and i have now lost 3 times the cost of braid in lures and twice great looking bass snapped off. I was do frustrated the first time i pulled all the line off and restoring it short only to continued wig sane issues. I really wish they had some kind of warranty cause I am put no only braid but lures as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Bad, but Good The line itself is not bad due to being really strong and braided but when cutting it, the line broke into smaller lines (But not a long lengths, about an inch). The line is able to hold strength and does not stretch like mono-filament (Thus being braided). In general. its good.
