wonderful investmentI had seen these before on friends boat so now thaat i bou my own boat these were my first thought when it came to anchorage. Works well. I bought two, bow and stern for my 14 v-hull. No waveing ba and forth. No pun intended.

It's basically a pulley system for your anchor. It has a hinge that pinches your anchor rope to hold it where you want. I have one at the front and one at the back of my 14' flat bottom. I can lower and raise the front anchor without ever leaving my seat.

How do you use this item? Do I thread the rope through the hole or under the flap?

Regarding the Attwood® Lift 'n Lock™ Standard Anchor Control, the rope is threaded through the flap. Please refer to your owner's manual for additional set up and installation steps. You can also visit the manufacturer website at www.attwoodmarine.com for additional assistance.
