not bad for the priceI bought this rod in 7ft just to have a cheep combo I could play around with and the first time fishing with it I was impressed with the sensitivity of but stiffness of the rod. It is quite durable. I have caught a couple 3lb fish and it did well. Haven't caught anything bigger on it but I think for the price it is a good rod.

Not a good rod at allI bought the tournament choice delta 6 foot rod a week ago and the first day I took it out on the boat with me I set the hook on the first fish i ever set the hook on it with it cracked in half.i thought it might have been just a bad rod so I went back to academy and exchanged it for a new one.well today I went fish a little tournament and set the hook on the replacement rod and it also cracked in half in the same exact spot.i really think it's a defective rod.i would not recommend purchasing this rod.
