Everything I was looking for in a broadheadI have shot and tuned many broadheads over the last 25 years, and have been nothing more than satisfied with Swhacker broadheads. I have shot them from vertical to crossbows with all deer recovered and good entry and exit wounds. Last year I bought several of the newest and most popular heads on the market to test out of my new crossbow to see if any shot or performed best, well after a few hounded dollars later and a few broken heads the Swhacker 100gr 2" head performed best. The Swhacker was the ONLY head that hit exact point of impact as field points out to any yardadge.

Best Mechanical Broadhead Made!I have used mechanicals in the past with not good results. I could not stand it any longer, I had to try these broadheads. Recently traveled to Nebraska to hunt some bruiser bucks, and had the luck of harvesting a nice representative. 240lbs 8 pt. The swhacker did its job, had a hard quartering away shot at 29 yards. I was high in the tree so I had a heck of an angle on the deer, took out the lungs and the heart with a complete pass thru shot. The blood trail was unbelievable, the deer ran 60 yards and expired. AWESOME MECHANICAL!!! I will purchase more of these!

Love the exit hole hate the priceI bought these swhacker broadheads 100 grain for $34.99 at Academy Sports. Got home screwed them on my arrows and was ready to go. I watched the video that came with them. The video showed that you can shoot through just about anything without the blades bending, well I'm here to tell you that it is a complete lie. Opening morning of deer season I shoot a small button buck through the neck and it bent one of the blades. I was like okay it hit a limb or something. I walk up on the deer and its still alive facing me. I shoot him in the neck and the arrow barried inside him. I gut the deer and pull the arrow out both the blades are bent so bad that I can not bend them back. I love the damage they do, but for $40 dollars they should not bend that easy. So if you have the money to buy more broadheads after three deer then they work great but if your trying to get your moneys worth out of them then I would go with rage that I have shot through 3 deer before and they will still be fine

Had to try them. When I started bowhunting, another brand was recommended. I shot my first doe but wondered what happened to one of my 3 blades. The next year I lost 2 deer shooting those same broadheads. After some research I found that the brand I was using was known for losing the blades. I looked into the Swhacker broadheads and was impressed at the testing and comparisons with other brands. I shot a 150 lb sow and it did the job. I am more confident now that I have seen what the Swhacker can do.
Can the swhacker broadheads be used on cross bow bolts? Is there a specific type just for bolts?

I have used these for the last 3 seasons. Hunt with a barnett quad 400. I have never lost a deer with these. Pen is not a problem at all, and the blood trail they leave is extreamly easy to follow. The longist trail i had to follow was about 20 yards.
