Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good I've only had these a few weeks but this seem to have it all - good battery life, good day pics and video, pretty good night pics and video, and very easy to program. We'll see how long they last but the price for the two I got is about the same as many other single units on the market

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like the quick settings and the battery life is I bought this camera with some scepticism, I have a stealth cam Unit camera I bought a few years ago and the pictures are good but the battery life sucked. I purchased this one on closeout and this camera is great. The quick settings are simple and fast as far as setup, pictures are good, the sensor picks up at longer distances and flash is good at longer distances. Video quality and sound is also good. But the thing that is so much better with this camera is the battery life.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I purchased on line 5/18/16. I tried different settings but it only takes 5 to 6 pictures a night. Another camera in the same location has been capturing 35 to 45 pictures a night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from G42NG Stealth Cam I bought several G42NG Stealth Cams to replace my Moultrie M-80 series cameras. I want a camera that has good pictures 70 to 100 feet away at night. The G42NG does a great job. The battery life is good. I use 5 to 10 cameras year around. I don't know how tuff they are yet but I like them so far. Great day pictures and very good night pictures for a IR camera.

Do you have solar battery? Battery pack:8 or more batteries?. The 4 batt.how long they last in video mode?Do you have solar powered cameras?.Thanks

Asked by: Kaim
We are not using solar battery. We have 3 of these cameras around our place in the Texas hill country. All are using the 8 AA battery packs. We have not tried them in video mode but are using them in the 3-photo burst mode. We get about 4 - 6 months battery life on each.

I want a motion-activated camera and many of these game cameras don't mention the motion thing.  If they don't mention it, should I assume they will only shoot at certain time intervals?

Asked by: rannkise
This camera is motion activated. It will take a picture each time something moves in front of it whether it be an animal, a human or leaves from wind blowing
