Worked great! So, I original bought this same basketball goal except with the water filled base. One, if you do that, make sure you fill it with water, and then, anchor it with sand bags on top or physical anchors. Mine fell over in a storm. Some people said I should put sand in the base, but I would only do water if you go that route, so it is easier to move. Also in my case, it busted for me, and that would have been a nightmare to move if it had sand in it. So, I was going to get the base replaced, and then, I figured out I could buy this base and anchor bold it to my driveway slab. I had wanted to do this in the first place, but I wanted to avoid the $600 price tag, and my wife wanted it "portable". My comment is the $600 price was worth it, and I should have done this in the first place for our layout. Also, I used anchor bolts with exterior Gorilla Glue. That was probably not necessary, but the holes did not drill out real clean. In retrospect, if I had used a higher-end hammer drill, the holes would have been cleaner and I could have gotten away without the glue as well.

Unhappy so far from
Missing partsI bought this basketball goal some time ago, but just recently received the correct parts. I had to call and email Spalding at least 4 times to obtain the right parts and the correct manual. This was a total lesson in patience to review each packet of parts and determine what was missing each time. I think I finally have everything, but have not been able to get it installed. Spalding should do a better job of identifying the parts and communicating the installation process.
What is the product weight? What is the shipping weight? What gauge is the metal post? Is there any other accessories needed for assembly? Is there a user manual online that I can view?

The Spalding NBA Arena® Series I Inground Pole. The U-Turn™ actuator lift system enables infinite height adjustment from 7' to 10', and the J-Bolt mounting system delivers stability. The pole is for use with the Spalding NBA Arena® Series I inground 48" Backboard Set (9888831T), however; the backboard set is not included. This is only for the pole system.
