TCP .380I'm 72 with weak hands and shoulder problems. The Taurus .380 is a snappy pistol. Went to range today to try this ammo out, and absolutely love it. She's got half the recoil from standard ammo and really helped with my accuracy. Wish this ammo were as inexpensive as the standard ammo,I would use it all day long.

My preferred pocket carry ammoI picked these up after reading many reviews on .380 defense ammo. In most gel tests, It averages right at 12 inches of penetration, meeting the FBI minimums while not endangering others from over penetration. The fluting on the rounds seems like it would create damage similar to a hollow point. Because of the increased velocity, you don't have to worry about it getting caught up on clothing, unlike some HP's. Next, because it is a polymer round, you don't have to worry about shrapnel from a ricochet. Lastly, there is very noticeable reduced recoil compared to standard 100 grain FMJ rounds. In a 10.2 ounce weapon, it makes a big difference for follow up shots.
