Best for the moneyI have killed 9 turkeys with Remington Nitro turkey loads - 3 inch #4s. I am cheap and there fore by cheap ammo. Yes, these are cheap shells. Yes, there are better shells out there. No, for $10 there is not a better box of shells. I recommend these shells because I have killed 9 Toms across 3 states. I have never patterned them past 35 yards cause I wouldn't take a shot past 35 yards. All in all, a good shell for the money.

Best "Cheap" Turkey Shell You Can BuyI've killed a lot of turkeys with these shells. They are good out to 35 yards. Pattern is all over the place past 35. The Winchester Long Beard XR's are the best shell on the market - but they cost twice as much. Great pattern at 50 yards and if you are spot on with your aim, you can kill one at 60. Disregard the reviewer who said these shells misfire, something must be wrong with his gun. I have never had a misfire with the Remington Nitro Turkey shell.

Do NOT buyI WAS a longtime Remington ammunition user. This last duck season I bought a brand new case of shells. Well there were AT LEAST 2 misfires in every box. I decided not to shoot Remington shells anymore for ducks. These turkey shells patterned good out of my gun so I went ahead and bought a box for this season. Today I had a gobbler that I have been chasing for 2 yrs come in at 30yds. Yep. Aim, squeeze trigger, misfire, turkey runs off. I'm done with Remington. Just ordered the Winchester long beard xrs. A good pattern means nothing if it doesn't come out of the gun barrel. You can gamble if you want to.

great!!!!!I bought these because the salesmen at Academy said they work great. Boy oh boy, he wasn't wrong. 30 yards shot a gobbler and he was down for the count. These shells are as good if not better than any shell I've ever shot.
