Cannot be beatFantastic reel! Ultra smooth drag, great casting and hold enough line. I’ve been fishing with this reel for a few years now and it’s still kicking. I’ve landed everything from bull drum, barracuda, snapper, sea bass to a huuuuuuuuge shark offshore. This reel is a beast.

This is my go to reelThis is a great reel for the price, the feature is also great for those that like to fish live bait. I bought the 65 for some surf fishing, and I can muscle pretty much anything in the sure with this reel. Casts are smooth and consistent. The only gripe I have is the Baitfeeder drag, its very finicky and feels cheap when adjusting. It's works and feels solid when the line bails out, just the knob feels a little cheap. Only reason its got 4 stars from me instead of 5.

The Okuma Avenger Baitfeeder Spinning Reel features an easy-to-reach lever (located on the body behind the handle) disengages the spool to allow the line to run freely. The tension of the free spool can be adjusted with the rear adjustment (which looks and works like a rear drag). The bait feeding system allows a fish to pick up the bait and run without feeling the drag of the reel. When you are ready to set the hook, you flip down the baitfeeder lever to engage the drag, and the conventional front drag takes over.
Okuma's Avenger baitfeeding system allows anglers to disengage their spinning reel spool and allow their bait to run freely. The baitfeeding system incorporates a secondary, micro-adjustable drag system at the rear of the reel that allows for precise adjustment of the spool for bait control. In order to disengage this system, simply turn the handle. The On/Off lever on the rear of the reel will automatically disengage the baitfeeding system so you can fight your fish with the main drag system.
