Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective little anchor for smaller craft I bought mine a month ago and it's working splendidly with my Old Time Vapor 10 Angler kayak. To prevent getting it caught in logs or rocks, I transferred the shackle to the *bottom* of the anchor and attached 4 feet of galvanized chain between the anchor and the anchor line. At the 'top' of the anchor, I attached a light zip tie through the hole to the anchor chain, so the anchor 'hangs' normally. I also removed the sliding locking collar attachment which is cumbersome. If I get the anchor stuck, a sharp tug on the anchor line snaps the zip tie, and the anchor folds up and is freed!
