I need a medium Range tactical scope for a C308, all I've read about this one is set for ar15 5.56, I like this set up, but will it handle the force of a 308 battle rifle?
Asked by: Nac66c
I have one, Gen III P4 Sniper, mounted on a Springfield M1A (308, civilian version of M14)..Works great, has been on the rifle for a little over 2 years. So far, 300yds is the longest real world shot I have taken (Deer hunting). Dead on!!! Easy on , easy off...maintains zero. I was skeptical of the brand but the scope was free (got it during horse trading)so I figured "what the heck".. I have since purchased several other NC Star optics. Good quality in spite of the price.
Its not cheaply made. Their warranty is awesome. I've sent one back, after a year's use on an M4. It was quickly replaced in kind, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
I hope this helps.
