This lil jewel does more well than not.The stove lives in a little triangle shaped plastic home for protection until needed. Pull it out and screw onto fuel cartridge and you are ready to cook. It is that easy. Turn the output dial till you hear a hiss and light your flame to life. Set your cookware onto the three toothed arms and set the correct flame till time to turn off, then reverse to pack away. I do also use the MSR canister base ($ 15.00) to add more stability. This stoves arms have been known to toss your preparations with little bumping so use caution. The Rocket will boil a liter of water in less than three minutes and will also power down and simmer well for pan or skillet cooking. The top also has a built in wind deflector so temperature stays consistent. Much more pros than cons on this Champion !

Best backpacking stove ever!I bought this stove for a backpacking trip to Utah. This stove is light weight, compact, and heats like larger stove. The propane tanks for this stove are easy to carry and last a long time. Great space saver. Comes in a red triangular box to help you not lose it. A backpacking essential.
