Rated 5 out of 5 by from HSM 357 mag Bear Loads Good price for a great product. Seems very accurate and very powerful! Nice solid recoil and loud from my 6" Ruger GP100! Got lots of attention at the range!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is what you load going to the woods. This ammo packs a punch. My Henry octagonal barrel tames it down. This ammo is packed with powder, well crimped. I just fired a few rounds at the range close proximity to get a feel and trajectory . If you're using a .357 mag , this is what you load for backup for unexpected close encounters when you're hunting. I've been trying to figure out what tracks are around the pond where I hunted Dec. 2016. Yes the tracks were fresh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hunting Ammo Very reliable and economically priced. This ammo is capable of taking almost any animal in the USA from a carbine or longer barrel pistol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Ammo, Especially for the Price I've shot 200 rounds of this ammo through my 6" Ruger GP-100. I got it for deer hunting and have been very pleased with the accuracy and consistency of it. They use Starline brass (excellent quality brass that is expensive), the bullets look consistent in shape and finish, the crimp is very tight and even, and I haven't had any failures to fire. This is essentially the same ammo as the Buffalo Bore 180 grain, though the HSM is not moving quite as fast as the Buffalo Bore, perhaps 200fps slower. Considering the major difference in price, with the HSM being about half the cost of BB, and the quality brass and crimp, I see no real reason to buy the Buffalo Bore unless you really need the additional velocity. I haven't done any really serious accuracy testing, but I have my revolver sighted in at 20 yards and if I do my part, it hits what I'm aiming at. I can hit bowling pins at 75 yards with no holdover, it should be perfect for deer. The sectional density of the bullet, combined with the flat nose hard cast design, makes it capable of killing anything on the continent with proper shot placement. If you're going to use one .357 round for everything, this is it. Great product, absolutely will buy more from here in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from average loads Good rounds but not worth the extra. Bought some 158 grain American Eagle and they had more kick and power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent velocity in a rifle I checked this ammo through my chronograph. I shot it out of my 22 inch barrel. I got an average of 1600 FPS. Not too bad. Ammo is reliable.
