Look elsewhere for quality pliersThis set of pliers is terrible. From the sheath, to the lanyard, to the pliers themselves this thing is junk.
The tips do not touch when fully closed, the line cutter started out great but bit the dust very quickly and know requires a lot of gnawing to cut through braid. The lanyard broke immediately. I glued the end back on and then the other end came off soon after. The velcro is holster is a joke. It doesn't stay closed at all.
The big plus is that I haven't had any corrosion whatsoever and they have been covered in beach sand and left sitting in the saltwater surf on accident with little more than a spray down.
Once everything gets done breaking they hit a point where they stop breaking and you can actually use them as a passable set of pliers. But save yourself the trouble and get a decent set so you don't have to deal with this junk.

Disappointing productThe pliers will not close all the way where the tip of the jaws touch. So you can't grab a hook or anything with them near the end. I bought a second pair in hopes it was just the one with the issue. The second pair, the jaws are loose and misaligned.
