2013 spike elk huntBought this ammo, in 2012 loved the way it shot from my savage xp 111 rem 7 mag, took a nice 3 point buck is 2012 at 250 yards one shot in the chest, with great exit whole, decided to try it on elk sens it a deer load I did not know what to expect. Shot at spike elk at 120 yards hit lung and bullet smashed great but did not exit hide on passing side next shot was in the neck and went through great exit whole and the elk dropped like a rock, all in all I will use this ammo as long as it's in the market thanks federal

Loaded down round150 gr fusion only chronographed 2950 out of my 26 inch browning 7 mag. Had less recoil than the 150 gr winchester power points which chronographed at 3090. They just seemed loaded down so why use a tougher bullet.
