Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its a wood bat and works as a wood bat. We decided to give a chance to this bat with my 9 year old. Great balance a weight (using the 28"). Over 300 pitches on the machine with a (45-50 mph) range without any crack issue so far. I seen other reviews regarding the short duration of this bat. In our case my son has been batting on wood bats for almost a year/ 3-4 time per week before buying this one and very familiar with the wood bat. I will recommend to buy a cheap one for practice until your kid its great making contact only by the "sweet spot". Also keeping the pitch on the 45-50 mph range and you should be fine. The bat is great for the price and after all its a kids wood bat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice bat but not durable I brought this bat for my 9yr old and the bat splintered the 2nd game of a wood bat tournament. I know that the bat is wood but my 9yr old should not be able to break that bat that easily. The bat should be replaced as the construction of it may be flawed considering so many early breaks. you may need to go back to the drawing board on that one. My kids all swing Easton bats but this is the first one that I am not satisfied with.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money I bought this bat on June 4th. My son hit about a dozen balls with it. It was broken by June 6th. This bat was a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend it. There is no warranty on wooden bats.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Makes a great bat for decorating. Bought the bat the morning of an 11U wood bat tourney, splintered during the fourth at bat, from the top of the grip to the start of the barrel. Wood is going to break but 4 at bats?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke almost immediately Son bought this bat and broke it two days later. He probably hit about 10 balls. If you want to waste $50, buy this bat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke Ten year saved money for this bat. Broke after 4 hits. Great for the tee.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great looking/feeling bat....just dont hit with it. My 10 year old son owns 2014 & 2016 Mako big barrels and loves them both. We were looking for a wood bat and thought to give this one a try (twice). Broke the first one in two weeks - but because of our past experience with Easton bats - I bought another. Snapped that one in a week. That's two down in less than a month...by a 10 year old. Great bat to look at and practice swing - just don't hit live pitching.
