BEST ONE PIECE ALLOY YOU CAN FINDAMAZING BAT FOR LITTLE LEAGUE AND A BIG BARREL VERSION OF THIS BAT WOULD BE GREAT FOR TRAVEL BALL. THE HYPERLITE ALLOY FEELS AMAZING. MINE IS A 21 OUNCE BUT FEELS WAY LITTLE. AN EXTRA LONG BARREL CREATES A BIGGER SWEET SPOT AND THE BAT IS AMAZING. A GREAT STEAL FOR 160. IT IS A GREAT BAT FOR PEOPLE WHO STRUGGLE TO SWING HEAVIER BATS LIKE MAKO AND MAKO XL. THE MAKO SPPED ISNT HEAVY BUT HAS A SMALLER BARREL THAN THE MAKO BEAST XL AND XL3. THE XL3 IS THE BEST ALLOY BAT IN THE BAT GAME RIGHT NOW. IT IS A GOOD DEAL TO BUY THIS BAT FOR 100 LESS DOLLARS THAN THE MAKO SERIES. IT IS MORE THAN WORTH THE MONEY.

Great BuyBats are expensive. I bought the 2014 model for $99 and was very happy with the price and performance. Once my son got use to the ping of the aluminum bat, he loved it. It was a big hit with his 12 year old little league all-star team. Many of the players put down their much more expensive composite bats for the XL3. As a matter of fact he like it so much that I just picked up the 2016 XL3 2 5/8 drop 5 bat for travel baseball this year. He's had 2 BP sessions with the bat and he loves it.

GOOD Bat for Experienced BattersThe bat, overall, is VERY GOOD. I would recommend for kids twelve and under. It's designed for experienced batters who know their pitch. When the bat makes GOOD contact with the ball - it's a guaranteed outfield hit. When the bat makes DECENT contact, it is usually strong enough to roll out of the infield. I would recommend this bat.
